At 9:30 we all left for Roosevelt. I stopped for gas at Big's, and was first to get to Roosevelt at about 11:10. Kent and Ross rode together and arrived shortly after I did, and then Rob and Blaine. Al then arrived coming from Ritzville. Al was itching to get on the water.
The wind was moderate and relatively steady, so everyone had a great day.
Blaine and Rob were on their 4.5 wings and getting used to foiling in the waves. At one point I was playing in the big waves on the far side, and WTF? - there was Blaine - just foiling along, doing a taxi jibe and foiling back - like the waves were no big deal at all! Great!

| Blain had a great day! |
Kent was out on his 3.9 sail and Ross was on his 4m Kite.
Al was blasting back and forth on his 4.8m sail in the morning and his 5.5 in the afternoon. I think he got his sailing itch at least partly satisfied, although he is looking forward to more sailing this week!
We all came in for lunch around 1:00, and then headed back out for more fun.

| Al had a Great Day - but the water was a little cooler than he expected! |
Most of us were tired and off the water by 3:00ish, but Kent and Ross needed another session to complete the day.
Blaine and Rob, in particular had really good days, both foiling most of the time and getting much more comfortable in the waves!
Rob and I headed back to Hood River, but the rest of the gang stayed until after 5:00, not getting back to Hood River until after 7:00.
As soon as Rob got back, he headed out on his Mountain bike to find some hills! What an animal! I was happy to sit in the condo and try to just recuperate from the day...
Kickstand was the call for supper. I missed it as I already had my dinner organized by the time they got back. There was live music at Kickstand, which I hear was excellent!
There wasn't much action after dinner. I think everyone must have been tired from the day.... Early to bed.
